Kim Beers

Kim Beers is a Deputy Director of Impact at Four Corners Global Consulting Group. Their areas of expertise include applying justice-rooted approaches to strategy and design; group facilitation; and cultivating healthy leadership, teams and cultures.

Kim comes to Four Corners with 15 years of experience in social impact work in a range of research, program design, partnership management, resource mobilization, and strategy facilitation roles. They have partnered with global queer advocates working to address violence, discrimination, and criminalization on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity/expression, and advocated for community-led approaches to queer liberation within international human rights, development and humanitarian programs. Kim is also passionate about supporting mission-driven people and organizations to align their practices, policies and culture with their values - work they have taken up in each of their prior roles, including as a facilitator for CARE International's Reflections on Equity, Diversity & Inclusion course for staff. They are obsessed with understanding human psychology: the core beliefs that drive our behaviors, the narratives we tell, and how these shape the communities and cultures we construct.

Kim is fluent in English and Spanish, and holds a degree in Foreign Service from Georgetown University. Baltimore-based, outside of work you will find Kim offline and outdoors as much as possible. Ask them about training dogs or their favorite waterfall hikes in the area.
